We had a lovely afternoon welcoming back our past pupil Katie McHugh, who is well on her way to becoming a fully qualified dentist. Katie and our student teacher Miss Rafferty are best friends so Miss Rafferty used her powers of persuasion to nab a visit from this aspiring dentist for her favourite group of students.
Primary Four thought of some amazing questions to ask, all of which were well answered by Katie. She even knows the Tooth Fairy! How cool is that??
She taught us how to brush our teeth properly and showed us some shocking pictures of teeth that needed help. To finish this wonderful topic off we played 'Kahoot' and Katie was so impressed with all of our knowledge on teeth. She left us with a parting present of a special box where we can leave teeth that have fallen out for the Tooth Fairy to take. We hope she'll come back again next year too.
