Primary 4 had an exciting mission—to design, make, and dress 50 Barbie and Ken dolls so they would be worthy candidates for the school jumble sale. What a fantastic job they did! Using old T-shirts, socks, and a variety of other materials, they created outfits that would not look out of place on the catwalk.
Along the way, they learned how to sew and demonstrated excellent creativity and mathematical skills when designing their pieces. The future of Irish fashion is certainly in safe hands—watch out, Dunnes!
