The School Council and Eco Council were kindly invited to tour the facilities of the Mid Ulster Council.
The council members toured the recycling centre and learnt how different items are sorted, recycled and reused again. After our tour, we were welcomed into the Chambers where all the important decisions are made by our councillors - we even got to cast our own votes!!
The pupils were given the opportunity to question 5 councillors and hear all about the important work they have been involved in for the Mid Ulster area.
A massive thank you to Councillors Córa Groogan, Donal McPeake, Christine McFlynn, Sean Clarke, Denise Johnston and also Eileen who looked after us so well!
Our School and Eco Council have came away with lots of ideas to make our school even better!!
