This week, Primary 7 were invited to participate in a Sustainability, Climate, Recycling & Biodiversity Education Event, hosted by Mid Ulster District Council. Pupils from Woods Primary School and St Trea’s, Ballymaguigan joined us for this brilliant Shared Education community event, celebrating World Water Day 2026.
We took part in lots of different activities such as tree planting, bird watching, water sampling, forest school and water safety activities. Despite the morning full of rain we had a great time outdoors, learning more about our local environment and how we can work together to preserve and protect nature around us.
What a great and interactive day of outdoor learning!
